1. Registration, confirmation:

Booking your travel with us (the Weltenbummler KG) entails the conclusion of a binding travel contract. The travel contract becomes binding for us if we confirm the booking and the price of the trip in writing within 2 weeks after receipt of your registration. If the confirmation differs from your registration, we are bound to the new offer for 10 days. The travel contract is concluded on the basis of the new offer if you accept our offer within this period.

2. Payment:

Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit of 15% of the tour price is due upon conclusion of the contract. The remaining travel price is due on the day before the start of the trip. We will send you the travel documents. Payment can be made in the following ways:

  • Transfer to our bank account at Südtiroler Wirtschaftsbank SWB,

  • Payment by credit card
  • Payment by bank check

3. Services, price:

Which services are contractually agreed upon results from the service descriptions in our catalog, our flyers or our internet offers and the information referring to this in the travel confirmation.

4. Service and price changes:

It may be necessary to change individual travel services or the travel price even after conclusion of the contract. We reserve the right to change the prices advertised and confirmed with the booking in the event of an increase in transport costs or charges for certain services, such as port or airport taxes, to the extent that their increase per person or per seat affects the travel price.

5. Withdrawal by the customer:

In case of cancellation of the trip on your part, we charge the following cancellation fee:

  • Cancellation up to the 30th day before departure: 10 % of the tour price.
  • Cancellation from the 29th to the 20th day before departure: 25 % of the travel price
  • Cancellation from the 19th to the 10th day before departure: 50 % of the tour price
  • Cancellation from the 09th to the 04th day before departure: 75 % of the tour price
  • Cancellation from the 3rd day (72 hours) before departure: 100 % of the tour price
  • Cancellation of the trip without notice: 100 % of the trip price

In order to avoid inconveniences, we recommend the conclusion of a travel cancellation insurance. The premium is 14,00 € per person. The insurance must be taken out when booking the trip.

6. Cancellation by the tour operator:

If the minimum number of participants specified in the catalog or in the offer is not reached, we have the right to cancel the trip until the 14th day before departure. The paid travel price will be refunded to the customer immediately.

7. Warranty/ Liability of the tour operator:

We guarantee our customers:

  • a conscientious travel preparation,
  • the careful selection and supervision of the service providers,
  • the proper provision of the contractually agreed travel services.

We are liable for:

  • fault of the persons entrusted with the provision of services.

If a travel service is not provided or not provided in accordance with the contract, the traveler may demand remedy within a reasonable time. The remedy on our part may also consist of a substitute service of equal or greater value.

After returning from the trip, the traveler may demand a reduction in the price of the trip if travel services have not been provided in accordance with the contract and the traveler does not culpably fail to report the defect.

If a trip is significantly impaired as a result of a defect and the organizer does not provide a remedy within a reasonable period, the traveler may terminate the travel contract in his own interest and for reasons of preservation of evidence by written declaration within the framework of the statutory provisions.

The contractual liability for damages that are not bodily injuries is limited in total to the amount of three times the travel price, insofar as damage to the traveler was caused neither intentionally nor through gross negligence. The limitation of liability to three times the tour price also applies if we are responsible for damage incurred by the traveler solely due to the fault of a service provider.

8. Exclusion of claims and statute of limitations:

All possible claims must be made to us within one month after the contractually agreed end of the trip. In your own interest, this should be done in writing.

After the deadline has expired, the traveler can only assert claims if he was prevented from meeting the deadline through no fault of his own.

Contractual claims expire six months after the contractually agreed end of the trip. Claims arising from unlawful acts are subject to a limitation period of 3 years.

9. Passport, visa and health regulations:

We will inform you about passport, visa and health regulations before the start of the trip.

10. Place of jurisdiction:

Lawsuits against the organizer are to be filed at the Provincial Court of Bolzano.

11. Data protection:

All personal data are protected in accordance with data protection regulations. When you make a booking, we collect personal data, which we keep in the context of the processing of our contractual relationship, in particular for the implementation and processing of the booked travel service. Your data will be disclosed only to those entities that need them to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations, or to fulfill your respective tasks.
